Johanna Stojkovic is a classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1990, in Belgrade, Serbia, Johanna showed an early interest in music. Her parents, both musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion. Johanna began her musical education at the age of six, studying piano with her mother. She quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument and began performing in public at the age of eight. By the time she was ten, Johanna had won several local competitions and was recognized as a rising star in the Serbian music scene. In 2001, Johanna was accepted into the prestigious Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade, where she continued her studies in piano performance. During her time at the school, Johanna received numerous awards and accolades for her performances, including first prize in the National Piano Competition in 2004. After completing her studies at Music School "Mokranjac," Johanna continued her education at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and professor Arbo Valdma. During her time at the faculty, Johanna continued to excel in her studies and was awarded the Dean's Award for Excellence in Piano Performance in 2012. Johanna's talent and hard work paid off when she was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London. During her time at the academy, Johanna studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and professor Christopher Elton. She also had the opportunity to perform in some of London's most prestigious concert halls, including the Wigmore Hall and the Royal Festival Hall. Johanna's performances at the Royal Academy of Music were met with critical acclaim, and she was awarded the prestigious Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Rose Bowl for Excellence in Piano Performance in 2014. This award is given to the most outstanding student in the piano department at the academy. After completing her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, Johanna began her professional career as a concert pianist. She has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Johanna's performances have been praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. She has a particular affinity for the music of Chopin and has been praised for her interpretations of his works. Johanna has also performed works by other great composers, including Beethoven, Mozart, and Schumann. In addition to her solo performances, Johanna has also collaborated with other musicians and ensembles.
