Jack Martin Handler was born on May 12, 1985, in New York City. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Handler showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Handler's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, Handler had already performed in several concerts and had won several awards in local competitions. Handler continued his musical education at the Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Yoheved Kaplinsky. During his time at Juilliard, Handler won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. After graduating from Juilliard, Handler began performing in concerts around the world. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented and dynamic pianist, known for his technical skill and emotional depth. Handler's performances were often praised for their clarity and precision, as well as their ability to convey a wide range of emotions. One of Handler's most notable performances was at the Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2010. He performed a program of works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt, which was met with critical acclaim. Handler has also performed with several major orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. In addition to his performances, Handler is also a dedicated teacher.
