Ana Feitosa is a Brazilian classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a pianist, conductor, and educator. Born in São Paulo in 1978, Feitosa showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. She quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with renowned Brazilian pianist and pedagogue, Ney Fialkow. Feitosa's musical education continued at the São Paulo State University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. She then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Orchestral Conducting at the University of São Paulo, studying under the guidance of conductor and composer Jamil Maluf. Throughout her studies, Feitosa was recognized for her exceptional talent and dedication to music. She was awarded numerous scholarships and prizes, including the prestigious São Paulo State Government Scholarship for Young Artists, which allowed her to study with renowned pianist and pedagogue Arnaldo Cohen in the United States. Feitosa's career as a performer began to take off in the early 2000s, when she began to receive invitations to perform at major music festivals and concert halls throughout Brazil and abroad. In 2003, she made her debut as a soloist with the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 under the baton of conductor Roberto Minczuk. Feitosa's performances were met with critical acclaim, and she quickly established herself as one of Brazil's most promising young pianists. She went on to perform with numerous other orchestras, including the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Rio de Janeiro State Symphony Orchestra. In addition to her work as a soloist, Feitosa also began to establish herself as a conductor. In 2006, she was appointed as the assistant conductor of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra, becoming the first woman to hold a conducting position with the orchestra. She went on to conduct numerous concerts with the orchestra, including performances of works by Beethoven, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky. Feitosa's career continued to flourish in the following years, with highlights including performances at the Ravinia Festival in the United States, the Beethovenfest in Germany, and the Sala São Paulo in Brazil.
