Armine Grigoryan is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of music. Born on May 5, 1987, in Yerevan, Armenia, Armine showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Armine's musical journey began at the Tchaikovsky Music School in Yerevan, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Anahit Shahbazyan. She continued her studies at the Yerevan State Conservatory, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance. During her time at the conservatory, Armine participated in numerous competitions and won several awards. In 2006, she won first prize at the Arno Babajanyan International Piano Competition in Yerevan. In 2008, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Rome, Italy. These early successes helped to establish Armine as a rising star in the world of classical music. After completing her studies at the conservatory, Armine continued to hone her skills by attending masterclasses with some of the world's most renowned pianists, including Boris Berman, Jerome Rose, and Alexander Kobrin. She also performed in numerous concerts and recitals, both in Armenia and abroad. In 2012, Armine moved to the United States to pursue further studies at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. There, she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Boris Slutsky. During her time at Peabody, Armine won several awards, including the Yale Gordon Concerto Competition and the Peabody Concerto Competition. Armine's talent and hard work paid off when she was invited to perform at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and the Royal Albert Hall in London. She has also performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the National Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to her performances, Armine is also a dedicated teacher and has taught piano at the Peabody Preparatory School and the Baltimore School for the Arts. She is passionate about sharing her love of music with others and helping to inspire the next generation of musicians.
