Beran Harp was born on May 15, 1985, in Vienna, Austria. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in music, particularly the harp. His parents, both musicians themselves, recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion. At the age of six, Beran began taking harp lessons with renowned harpist, Maria Schmidt. Under her tutelage, he quickly developed his skills and began performing in local concerts and competitions. By the age of ten, he had won his first national harp competition, solidifying his place as a rising star in the classical music world. Beran continued to hone his craft throughout his teenage years, studying under various harpists and attending music schools in Vienna and Paris. In 2004, Beran was invited to perform at the prestigious Salzburg Festival, one of the most renowned classical music festivals in the world. His performance was met with critical acclaim, and he was soon invited to perform at other major festivals and venues across Europe and the United States. Over the years, Beran has become known for his virtuosic harp playing and his ability to bring new life to classical compositions.
