She was the daughter of a famous violinist, Pierre Baillot, and a pianist, Marie Panzéra. Her parents were both musicians, and they encouraged her to pursue a career in music from a young age. Magdeleine began her musical training at the Paris Conservatory, where she studied piano and voice. She was a talented student and quickly gained recognition for her exceptional musical abilities.
