Alm Nils Ersson was a renowned classical music artist who was born on May 12, 1925, in Stockholm, Sweden. He was the youngest of three children born to Nils and Anna Ersson. His father was a carpenter, and his mother was a homemaker. Alm showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Alm's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue music. He began taking piano lessons with a local teacher and quickly progressed.
