Roberto de Biasio is a renowned Italian tenor who has made a name for himself in the world of classical music. Born on 16th October 1971 in Bologna, Italy, de Biasio grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a pianist, and his mother was a singer, which exposed him to music at a young age. He started singing at the age of six and later joined the choir of the Basilica of San Petronio in Bologna. De Biasio's passion for music continued to grow, and he decided to pursue a career in classical music. He enrolled at the Conservatory of Music in Bologna, where he studied under the guidance of renowned vocal coaches such as Carlo Bergonzi and Mirella Freni. He graduated with honors in 1995 and began his professional career as a tenor. De Biasio's talent and hard work soon paid off, and he started receiving invitations to perform in major opera houses and festivals around the world. In 1997, he made his debut at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, one of the most prestigious opera houses in the world, in the role of the Shepherd in Richard Wagner's "Tristan und Isolde." One of de Biasio's most notable performances was in the role of Don Ottavio in Mozart's "Don Giovanni" at the Salzburg Festival in 2008. His performance was highly praised by critics, who described his voice as "pure and clear" and his interpretation as "sensitive and nuanced." He also received critical acclaim for his performance in the role of Alfredo in Verdi's "La Traviata" at the Royal Opera House in London in 2011.
