Soo Hyun Kim is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on December 12, 1987, in Seoul, South Korea, Soo Hyun Kim showed an early interest in music. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. At the age of six, she began taking piano lessons, and by the age of ten, she had already won several local competitions. Soo Hyun Kim's talent and dedication to music continued to grow, and she eventually decided to pursue a career in music. She attended the Seoul National University of Arts, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Daejin Kim. During her time at the university, she won several awards, including the Grand Prize at the 2007 Eumyeon Piano Competition and the Grand Prize at the 2008 Korea-Germany Brahms Competition. In 2012, she won the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in San Marino, Italy, and the following year, she won the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Valencia, Spain. Soo Hyun Kim's career continued to flourish, and she began to perform with some of the world's most prestigious orchestras, including the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2015, she performed at the Seoul Arts Center with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, where she played Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 to a standing ovation. Soo Hyun Kim's talent and dedication to music have earned her numerous accolades and awards throughout her career. In addition to the awards mentioned above, she has also won the Second Prize at the International Piano Competition in Hamamatsu, Japan, and the Third Prize at the International Piano Competition in Leeds, England.
