Role:ConductorTony Rowe was born on May 12, 1985, in London, England. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned classical pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Tony showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Tony's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking formal piano lessons at the age of six and quickly progressed through the grades. By the time he was a teenager, Tony was already performing in public concerts and competitions. In 2003, Tony was accepted into the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Professor John Smith. During his time at the academy, Tony honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. After graduating from the academy in 2007, Tony began performing professionally. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented and versatile pianist, capable of playing a wide range of styles and genres. He performed in concerts and recitals across the UK and Europe, and his performances were always well-received by audiences and critics alike. One of Tony's most memorable performances was at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2010. He was invited to perform as part of the BBC Proms, one of the most prestigious classical music festivals in the world. Tony played a selection of pieces by Chopin, Liszt, and Beethoven, and his performance was met with a standing ovation from the audience. Tony's talent and hard work were recognized by the music industry, and he received several awards and accolades throughout his career. In 2012, he was awarded the Young Musician of the Year award by the Royal Philharmonic Society, one of the most prestigious music awards in the UK. The following year, he was awarded the International Classical Music Award for Best Solo Instrumentalist. Despite his success, Tony remained humble and dedicated to his craft. He continued to practice and perform regularly, always striving to improve his skills and push the boundaries of classical music. Tragically, Tony's career was cut short when he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2016. Despite undergoing extensive treatment, he passed away in 2018 at the age of 33.
