Born on December 28, 1987, in Budapest, Hungary, Bíró showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began studying with renowned Hungarian pianist and pedagogue, Zoltán Kocsis, at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. Bíró's musical education continued at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, where he studied with renowned pianist and teacher, Paul Badura-Skoda. During his time in Vienna, Bíró also had the opportunity to work with other notable musicians, including András Schiff, Ferenc Rados, and György Kurtág. Bíró's talent and dedication to his craft quickly became evident, and he began to receive recognition for his performances. In 2008, he won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Rome, and in 2010, he was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Budapest. These early successes helped to establish Bíró as a rising star in the classical music world. Since then, Bíró has gone on to perform at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. He has also collaborated with many renowned orchestras, including the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. Bíró's repertoire is wide-ranging, encompassing works by classical composers such as Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, as well as more contemporary pieces by composers such as Ligeti and Kurtág. He is particularly known for his interpretations of the music of Franz Liszt, a fellow Hungarian and one of the greatest pianists of all time.
