Thomas Vanlede was born on May 12, 1985, in Brussels, Belgium. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Thomas showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Thomas received his formal music education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he studied under the tutelage of some of the most distinguished music teachers in the country. He graduated with honors in 2007, and soon after, he was offered a scholarship to study at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. During his time at Juilliard, Thomas honed his skills as a pianist and gained a reputation as one of the most promising young musicians of his generation.
