Vitaly Vlasov is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on December 28, 1985, in Moscow, Russia, Vlasov showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Vlasov's musical education began at the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Tatiana Zelikman. He later continued his studies at the Moscow State Conservatory, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance. Throughout his education, Vlasov participated in numerous competitions and won several awards. In 2003, he won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Memory of Emil Gilels, held in Odessa, Ukraine. He also won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz, held in Kiev, Ukraine, in 2005. In 2006, he made his debut at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, where he performed Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra. He also performed at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, and the Carnegie Hall in New York. In addition to his solo performances, Vlasov has collaborated with many renowned musicians and orchestras. He has performed with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. Vlasov's repertoire includes works by some of the greatest composers in history, such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and Tchaikovsky. In 2010, Vlasov released his debut album, "Vitaly Vlasov Plays Rachmaninoff," which received critical acclaim and was praised for its technical brilliance and emotional depth. He has since released several other albums, including "Vitaly Vlasov Plays Chopin," "Vitaly Vlasov Plays Tchaikovsky," and "Vitaly Vlasov Plays Liszt." Vlasov's talent and achievements have been recognized by numerous awards and honors. In 2012, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia, one of the highest honors given to artists in Russia. He has also been awarded the Order of Friendship, a state decoration of the Russian Federation, for his contributions to the arts.
