In 1945, Johana made her debut performance at the Vienna Musikverein, where she played Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3. Her performance was well-received, and she soon became a sought-after pianist in Europe. She went on to perform in major cities such as Paris, London, and Berlin, and her reputation as a talented pianist continued to grow. In 1951, Johana moved to the United States and settled in New York City. She continued to perform in major concert halls across the country and quickly gained a following.
