Brandt Attema is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for himself as a trombonist. He was born on December 22, 1976, in the Netherlands, and grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a professional trumpet player, and his mother was a music teacher. Attema started playing the trombone at the age of nine and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. Attema's early musical education was at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam, where he studied with George Wiegel. He then went on to study at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Jörgen van Rijen, who is considered one of the best trombonists in the world.
