Maria Luisa Baldassari was born on May 12, 1985, in Milan, Italy. She was born into a family of musicians, with her father being a renowned pianist and her mother a violinist. From a young age, Maria showed a keen interest in music and began taking piano lessons at the age of four. Maria's talent for music was evident from an early age, and she quickly progressed in her piano studies. By the age of ten, she had already won several local competitions and had begun performing in public. Her parents recognized her potential and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. In 1997, Maria was accepted into the prestigious Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Carlo Bruno. During her time at the conservatory, Maria honed her skills and developed her own unique style of playing. After graduating from the conservatory in 2005, Maria began performing professionally. Her first major performance was at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, where she played Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5. Over the next few years, Maria continued to perform at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. She also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Berlin Philharmonic. In 2010, Maria released her debut album, which featured works by Chopin, Liszt, and Beethoven. In 2012, Maria was invited to perform at the opening ceremony of the London Olympics.
