Guntfried Speck was born on May 12, 1975, in Vienna, Austria. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned violinist and his mother a pianist. From a young age, Speck showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Speck's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the Vienna Conservatory of Music at the age of six. He studied under some of the most prominent music teachers in Austria and quickly became known for his exceptional talent. By the age of ten, Speck had already won several local piano competitions and was invited to perform at prestigious venues across Europe. In 1988, Speck made his debut performance at the Vienna State Opera, where he played Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21. In addition to his work as a performer, Speck is also a dedicated music educator.
