Evgeni Bozhanov is a Bulgarian classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his exceptional talent and musicality. Born on September 30, 1984, in Varna, Bulgaria, Bozhanov showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Bozhanov's musical education began at the Dobri Hristov Music School in Varna, where he studied with Professor Stella Dimitrova. He later continued his studies at the National Music Academy in Sofia, where he studied with Professor Krassimir Gatev. Bozhanov's talent was evident from an early age, and he quickly gained recognition for his exceptional musical abilities. In 2008, Bozhanov won the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, Belgium, which is one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world. His performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, Op. 30, was widely praised by the judges and the audience alike. This victory launched Bozhanov's international career and established him as one of the most promising young pianists of his generation. Since then, Bozhanov has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has collaborated with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Bozhanov's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in history, such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. He is known for his exceptional technique, musicality, and sensitivity, which allow him to bring out the nuances and subtleties of each piece he performs. In addition to his performances, Bozhanov is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. He has taught masterclasses at some of the world's leading music schools, including the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Juilliard School in New York. He was also a finalist in the 2005 Leeds International Piano Competition and the 2007 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
