Period:BaroqueGenre:ConcertoWalter Gallozzi was born on May 12, 1985, in Rome, Italy. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a pianist and his mother a singer. From a young age, Gallozzi showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. He later learned to play the violin and the guitar. Gallozzi's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking lessons with renowned musicians in Italy and quickly gained a reputation as a prodigy. At the age of 12, he won his first national competition and was invited to perform at the prestigious Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Gallozzi continued to excel in his studies and was accepted into the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome, one of the most prestigious music schools in Italy. He studied under the guidance of renowned violinist Salvatore Accardo and graduated with honors in 2005. After completing his studies, Gallozzi began performing professionally and quickly gained recognition for his virtuosity and musicality. He performed with some of the most prestigious orchestras in Italy, including the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi. In 2008, Gallozzi was invited to perform at the prestigious Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Italy. His performance was widely acclaimed, and he was awarded the festival's top prize for young musicians. Gallozzi's international career began to take off in 2010 when he was invited to perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. His performance was a huge success, and he was invited back to perform at the center several times over the next few years. In 2012, Gallozzi was invited to perform at the prestigious Verbier Festival in Switzerland. His performance was widely acclaimed, and he was invited back to perform at the festival in 2013 and 2014.
