Raymond Cohen was born on May 15, 1965, in New York City. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Raymond showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. As a child, Raymond was exposed to a wide range of musical genres, but it was classical music that captured his heart. In 1983, Raymond was accepted into the Juilliard School of Music, where he studied under the tutelage of some of the most respected teachers in the field. After graduating from Juilliard in 1987, Raymond began his professional career as a concert pianist. One of the highlights of Raymond's career came in 1995, when he was invited to perform at the White House for President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton.
