Born in Skopje, North Macedonia, on May 5, 1985, Maria showed an interest in music at a very young age. Her parents, who were both music teachers, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Maria began her musical education at the age of six, studying piano and music theory. She quickly showed a natural talent for the piano and began to excel in her studies. By the age of ten, she had won her first piano competition, and her talent continued to grow. In 1999, Maria was accepted into the Music High School in Skopje, where she continued her studies in piano and music theory. During her time at the school, she won numerous awards and competitions, including the National Piano Competition in Skopje and the International Piano Competition in Belgrade. After graduating from high school, Maria continued her studies at the Faculty of Music in Skopje, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. She then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Piano Performance at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria. During her time in Vienna, Maria had the opportunity to study with some of the world's most renowned pianists, including Paul Badura-Skoda and Rudolf Buchbinder. She also had the opportunity to perform in some of the city's most prestigious concert halls, including the Musikverein and the Konzerthaus. In 2010, Maria won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Rome, Italy, which helped to launch her career as a soloist. Since then, she has performed in some of the world's most renowned concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Maria has also collaborated with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. She has worked with some of the world's most renowned conductors, including Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, and Riccardo Muti. In addition to her work as a soloist, Maria is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and the Music Academy in Skopje. She is also a frequent guest lecturer and masterclass teacher at universities and music schools around the world. Maria has received numerous awards and honors throughout her career, including the Order of Merit of North Macedonia, the Medal of Honor of the City of Vienna, and the Golden Medal of the International Piano Competition in Rome. She is also a Steinway Artist, an honor reserved for the world's most renowned pianists. Maria's dedication to her craft and her passion for music have made her one of the world's most renowned classical music artists.
