Lauri Sallinen is a Finnish classical music artist who has made a name for himself as a conductor, composer, and pianist. Born on December 10, 1975, in Helsinki, Finland, Sallinen showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He went on to study at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music.
