Gina Bernelli was born on May 15, 1985, in Milan, Italy. She was born into a family of musicians, with her father being a renowned pianist and her mother a violinist. From a young age, Gina was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Gina's early years were spent studying under the guidance of her father. She quickly developed a passion for the piano and spent countless hours practicing and perfecting her technique. By the age of ten, she had already won several local competitions and was gaining recognition as a prodigy. At the age of twelve, Gina was accepted into the prestigious Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan. She studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Carlo Maria Griguoli. Under his guidance, Gina's skills flourished, and she began to gain recognition as a rising star in the classical music world. In 2001, Gina won first prize in the International Piano Competition in Paris, France. This was a significant achievement for the young musician, and it opened up many doors for her.
