Duo Vivace is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2012 by two talented musicians, pianist Yuka Nakayama and violinist Tomoko Akasaka. The duo has gained a reputation for their exceptional performances and their ability to captivate audiences with their unique blend of classical music. Yuka Nakayama was born in Japan and began playing the piano at the age of four. She went on to study at the Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo and later at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Tomoko Akasaka was also born in Japan and began playing the violin at the age of three. She studied at the Toho Gakuen School of Music and later at the Juilliard School in New York. The two musicians met while studying at the Toho Gakuen School of Music and quickly became friends. They discovered that they shared a passion for classical music and decided to form a duo. They named their ensemble Duo Vivace, which means "lively duo" in Italian. Duo Vivace made their debut performance in 2012 at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall. The concert was a huge success and the duo received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. They went on to perform at various venues throughout Japan and quickly gained a following. In 2013, Duo Vivace was invited to perform at the prestigious Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
