Quartet M. Nostitz is a renowned classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with their exceptional performances for over two decades. The quartet comprises four talented musicians, namely Jana Vonášková (violin), Jan Pěruška (violin), Jiří Kabát (viola), and Jan Špaček (cello). The group was formed in 1999 in Prague, Czech Republic, and has since then become one of the most sought-after chamber music ensembles in Europe. The members of Quartet M. Nostitz all come from distinguished musical backgrounds. Jana Vonášková, the first violinist, studied at the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She has won numerous awards, including the International Violin Competition in Kloster Schöntal, Germany. Jan Pěruška, the second violinist, also studied at the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He has performed with several orchestras, including the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the Prague Symphony Orchestra. Jiří Kabát, the violist, studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and has performed with several orchestras, including the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the Prague Chamber Orchestra. Jan Špaček, the cellist, studied at the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He has won several awards, including the International Cello Competition in Liezen, Austria. Quartet M. Nostitz has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe, including the Rudolfinum in Prague, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, and the Wigmore Hall in London. The quartet has also performed at several music festivals, including the Prague Spring International Music Festival, the Salzburg Festival, and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. One of the highlights of Quartet M. Nostitz's career was their performance at the 2004 Prague Spring International Music Festival. The quartet performed Beethoven's String Quartet No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 131, to a standing ovation.
