Paula Buchner was born on May 12, 1985, in Vienna, Austria. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her father being a renowned pianist and her mother a violinist. From a young age, Paula showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Paula's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking piano lessons with her father and quickly progressed, mastering complex pieces by Mozart and Beethoven. By the age of ten, Paula had already won several local competitions and was gaining recognition as a prodigious young talent. In 1997, Paula was accepted into the prestigious Vienna Conservatory, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Maria João Pires.
