Maksim Mrvica is a Croatian classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his unique style of playing. Born on May 3, 1975, in Šibenik, Croatia, Maksim showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of nine. He was a prodigious talent and quickly gained a reputation as a gifted pianist. Maksim's early musical education was under the guidance of Professor Vladimir Krpan at the Zagreb Academy of Music.
