Francien Schatborn is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on May 12, 1952, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Schatborn showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. Schatborn's musical education began at the Amsterdam Conservatory, where she studied under the tutelage of Jan Wijn. She later continued her studies at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam, where she received her diploma in piano performance. Schatborn also studied with renowned pianists such as György Sebők, Leon Fleisher, and Murray Perahia. Schatborn's talent and dedication to music were evident from an early age. She won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht in 1972.
