Bertil Alstergard was a renowned classical music artist who was born on May 12, 1939, in Stockholm, Sweden. He was the son of a music teacher and grew up in a family that was passionate about music. From a young age, Bertil showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He later went on to study at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where he honed his skills as a pianist.
