The Belgium Festival Orchestra is a renowned classical music ensemble that has captivated audiences around the world with their exceptional performances. The orchestra was founded in 2018 by Jan Caeyers, a Belgian conductor and musicologist, with the aim of bringing together some of the most talented musicians in Belgium to create a world-class orchestra. Jan Caeyers was born in Leuven, Belgium, in 1956. He studied musicology at the Catholic University of Leuven and later went on to study conducting at the Vienna Music Academy. Caeyers has had a distinguished career as a conductor, having worked with some of the most prestigious orchestras in Europe, including the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra. The Belgium Festival Orchestra made its debut in August 2018 at the Festival of Flanders in Bruges. The orchestra's first performance was a resounding success, with audiences and critics alike praising their exceptional musicianship and the energy and passion they brought to the stage. Since then, the orchestra has gone on to perform at some of the most prestigious venues in Europe, including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Philharmonie de Paris, and the Royal Albert Hall in London.
