Slavka Taskova is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on 15th May 1985 in Skopje, North Macedonia, Slavka showed an early interest in music. Her parents, who were both music teachers, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Slavka began her musical journey at the age of six when she started taking piano lessons. She quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument and progressed rapidly. By the age of ten, she had won her first piano competition, and her talent was recognized by the local music community. In 1997, Slavka was accepted into the prestigious Music School in Skopje, where she continued her studies under the guidance of renowned piano teacher, Professor Lidija Stankovska. During her time at the Music School, Slavka participated in numerous competitions and concerts, winning several awards and accolades. In 2003, Slavka was awarded a scholarship to study at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria. She moved to Vienna and began studying under the tutelage of Professor Stefan Vladar, a renowned pianist and conductor. During her time in Vienna, Slavka continued to excel in her studies and won several awards, including the prestigious Bösendorfer Prize for Piano. After completing her studies in Vienna, Slavka moved to London to pursue a career as a professional pianist. She quickly established herself as a rising star in the classical music world, performing in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the UK and Europe. In 2010, Slavka was invited to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London as part of the BBC Proms. The Proms is an annual music festival that takes place over eight weeks in the summer, featuring some of the world's most renowned classical musicians. Slavka's performance at the Proms was a huge success, and she received critical acclaim for her virtuosity and musicality. Since then, Slavka has continued to perform at major concert halls and festivals around the world, including the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Salzburg Festival.
