Yelena Yegoryan is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of music. Born on May 15, 1985, in Yerevan, Armenia, Yelena showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Yelena's early years were spent studying music at the Tchaikovsky Music School in Yerevan. She showed exceptional talent and was soon recognized as a prodigy. Her teachers were impressed with her ability to play complex pieces with ease and her natural musicality. Yelena's parents were supportive of her musical ambitions and provided her with the best possible training. At the age of 12, Yelena won her first major competition, the Armenian National Piano Competition. This was a significant achievement for her, and it marked the beginning of her career as a professional musician. Yelena continued to win competitions and awards throughout her teenage years, including the International Piano Competition in Moscow and the International Piano Competition in Paris. In 2003, Yelena moved to the United States to study at the Juilliard School in New York City. She was awarded a full scholarship to study under the guidance of renowned pianist Emanuel Ax. Yelena's time at Juilliard was a turning point in her career. She was exposed to a new level of musical excellence and was challenged to push herself to new heights. During her time at Juilliard, Yelena won several awards and competitions, including the Juilliard Concerto Competition and the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. After graduating from Juilliard, Yelena embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist. Yelena has also collaborated with many renowned conductors, including Sir Simon Rattle, Valery Gergiev, and Daniel Barenboim.
