Elena Vassilieva is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born in Moscow, Russia, on December 12, 1971, Vassilieva showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Vassilieva's musical education began at the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow, where she studied under the tutelage of Professor Tatiana Zelikman. She later continued her studies at the Moscow State Conservatory, where she received her Master's degree in Piano Performance. During her time at the conservatory, Vassilieva won several awards and competitions, including the International Piano Competition in Senigallia, Italy, and the International Piano Competition in Jaen, Spain. After completing her studies, Vassilieva began performing extensively throughout Russia and Europe. She quickly gained a reputation as a talented and dynamic performer, known for her technical skill and emotional depth. In 1996, she made her debut at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, performing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra.
