Matthias Klink is a German tenor who has established himself as one of the most sought-after classical music artists of his generation. Born on August 22, 1971, in Heidelberg, Germany, Klink grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a conductor, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Klink showed a keen interest in music and began singing in choirs and playing the piano. Klink's formal music education began at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Mannheim, where he studied voice with Rudolf Piernay. He later continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg with Renate Faltin.
