Rebekka Hartmann is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of music. Born on 22nd May 1992 in Germany, Rebekka showed an early interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Her parents, who were both musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Rebekka's early years were spent honing her skills on the violin. She received her first lessons from her mother, who was a violin teacher. At the age of six, Rebekka began attending the music school in her hometown of Freiburg, where she continued to study the violin. She quickly progressed and was soon performing in local concerts and competitions. In 2004, Rebekka was accepted into the prestigious Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, where she studied under the tutelage of Professor Wolfgang Marschner. During her time at the music school, Rebekka continued to excel and was awarded several prizes and scholarships. In 2008, she won the first prize at the International Violin Competition in Kloster Schöntal, Germany. After completing her studies at the music school, Rebekka went on to study with Professor Zakhar Bron at the Zurich University of the Arts. Under his guidance, she continued to develop her skills and technique on the violin. In 2012, Rebekka won the first prize at the International Violin Competition in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Rebekka's talent and hard work soon caught the attention of the music world, and she began to receive invitations to perform at major concerts and festivals. In 2013, she made her debut at the Berlin Philharmonic, where she performed the Beethoven Violin Concerto with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. The performance was a huge success, and Rebekka received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Since then, Rebekka has performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Salle Pleyel in Paris. She has also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. In addition to her performances, Rebekka is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. She has taught masterclasses at several music schools and festivals, including the Mozarteum in Salzburg and the Verbier Festival in Switzerland. In 2015, she was awarded the prestigious Echo Klassik Award for her recording of the Brahms Violin Concerto with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra.
