Born on May 22, 1995, in Krakow, Poland, Kociuban showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with some of the best teachers in Poland. As a child, Kociuban participated in numerous piano competitions and won several awards. In 2006, he won first prize in the National Piano Competition for Young Pianists in Tarnow, Poland. This was followed by a second prize in the International Piano Competition in Sanok, Poland, in 2007. In 2008, Kociuban won first prize in the National Piano Competition in Rzeszow, Poland, and in 2009, he won first prize in the International Piano Competition in Koszalin, Poland. Kociuban's talent continued to grow, and he began to attract attention from the international music community. In 2010, he won first prize in the International Piano Competition in Pinerolo, Italy, and in 2011, he won first prize in the International Piano Competition in San Dona di Piave, Italy. These victories helped to establish Kociuban as a rising star in the world of classical music. In 2012, Kociuban was accepted into the prestigious Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher Professor Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron. During his time at the university, Kociuban continued to win awards and accolades. In 2013, he won first prize in the International Piano Competition in Cagliari, Italy, and in 2014, he won first prize in the International Piano Competition in Rome, Italy. Kociuban's talent and hard work paid off in 2015 when he won first prize in the prestigious International Piano Competition in Santander, Spain. This competition is widely regarded as one of the most challenging and prestigious piano competitions in the world, and Kociuban's victory cemented his status as one of the most talented young pianists of his generation. Since winning the Santander competition, Kociuban has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. He has also collaborated with some of the most renowned conductors and orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra.
