He studied under the guidance of renowned pianists such as Jacques Rouvier and Jean-Claude Pennetier. During his time at the conservatory, Francois won several awards and accolades for his exceptional talent. He won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Senigallia, Italy, in 1993, and the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Epinal, France, in 1994. After completing his studies, Francois began his professional career as a concert pianist.
