Sonig Tchakerian is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, on August 15, 1958, Tchakerian grew up in a family that valued music and the arts. Her father was a composer and conductor, and her mother was a pianist. From a young age, Tchakerian was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Tchakerian's family moved to Paris when she was eight years old, where she continued her musical education. She studied at the Conservatoire National de Musique de Paris, where she excelled in piano performance. Tchakerian's talent was recognized early on, and she won several awards and competitions during her time at the conservatory. After completing her studies in Paris, Tchakerian moved to the United States to further her education. She attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied with renowned pianist and teacher, Rosina Lhevinne.
