The Trois-Rivières Symphony Orchestra is a classical music ensemble based in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. The orchestra was founded in 1938 by a group of local musicians who wanted to bring classical music to the community. Over the years, the orchestra has grown in size and reputation, becoming one of the most respected orchestras in Canada. The Trois-Rivières Symphony Orchestra is made up of over 50 musicians, including string, woodwind, brass, and percussion players. The orchestra is led by a conductor, who is responsible for interpreting the music and leading the musicians in rehearsals and performances. One of the highlights of the Trois-Rivières Symphony Orchestra's history was its performance at the 1967 World Expo in Montreal.
