Duo Imaginaire is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2015 by two talented musicians, violinist Ariadne Daskalakis and pianist Miri Yampolsky. The duo has quickly gained recognition for their exceptional performances and unique interpretations of classical music. Ariadne Daskalakis was born in Athens, Greece, and began playing the violin at the age of six. She studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, Germany, and later at the Juilliard School in New York City. She has performed as a soloist with many renowned orchestras, including the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Miri Yampolsky was born in Israel and began playing the piano at the age of five. She studied at the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem and later at the Juilliard School in New York City. Yampolsky has won several awards and competitions, including the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. She has performed as a soloist with many orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. Duo Imaginaire was formed when Daskalakis and Yampolsky met while studying at the Juilliard School. They quickly discovered a shared passion for classical music and began performing together.
