Iskander Zakirov is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on January 1, 1985, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Zakirov showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Zakirov's musical journey began at the Uspensky Music School in Tashkent, where he received his first formal training in music. He later went on to study at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, where he honed his skills under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Tamara Popovich. In 2005, Zakirov moved to Moscow to continue his studies at the Moscow State Conservatory, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Eliso Virsaladze. During his time in Moscow, Zakirov participated in several international competitions and won numerous awards, including the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Astana, Kazakhstan, in 2007. Zakirov's talent and dedication to his craft soon caught the attention of the international music community, and he was invited to perform at several prestigious venues around the world. In 2008, he made his debut at the Carnegie Hall in New York City, where he received critical acclaim for his performance of works by Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. Over the years, Zakirov has performed at some of the world's most renowned concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Salle Pleyel in Paris. He has also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. In addition to his performances, Zakirov is also a dedicated teacher and has taught masterclasses at several music schools and conservatories around the world.
