F.A.C.E. Treble Choir is a classical music artist that has been captivating audiences with their angelic voices and stunning performances for over two decades. The choir was founded in 1999 by a group of passionate music educators who wanted to provide a platform for young singers to showcase their talents and develop their skills in choral music. The name F.A.C.E. stands for Fine Arts Core Education, which reflects the choir's commitment to providing a well-rounded education that includes music and the arts. The choir is based in Montreal, Canada, and is made up of over 100 young singers between the ages of 9 and 17. From its humble beginnings, F.A.C.E. Treble Choir has grown to become one of the most respected and acclaimed youth choirs in Canada. The choir has won numerous awards and accolades for their performances, including first place at the National Music Festival in 2005 and 2010, and the prestigious Healey Willan Grand Prize in 2012. One of the highlights of F.A.C.E. Treble Choir's career was their performance at the 2010 World Choir Games in Shaoxing, China. The choir competed against over 300 choirs from around the world and won two gold medals in the Children's Choir and Sacred Music categories. The choir's performance was praised for its precision, clarity, and emotional depth. Another notable performance by F.A.C.E. Treble Choir was their collaboration with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra in 2015. The choir performed in the world premiere of composer Ana Sokolović's "Golden slumbers kiss your eyes," which was commissioned by the orchestra. The performance was a critical and commercial success, and cemented F.A.C.E. Treble Choir's reputation as one of the most talented and versatile youth choirs in Canada. F.A.C.E. Treble Choir's repertoire is diverse and includes classical, contemporary, and folk music from around the world.
