Born in Baku, Azerbaijan, in 1986, Rashidova began her musical journey at a very young age. Her parents, both musicians, recognized her natural talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Rashidova started playing the violin when she was just four years old. She received her first lessons from her mother, who was a violin teacher. At the age of six, Rashidova was accepted into the Baku Music Academy, where she studied under the guidance of renowned violinist and teacher, Professor Yeghiazar Karapetyan. In 2000, Rashidova moved to London to continue her studies at the Royal Academy of Music. She studied under the tutelage of Professor György Pauk, one of the most respected violin teachers in the world. Rashidova quickly established herself as a rising star in the classical music world, winning numerous awards and accolades for her exceptional talent. One of Rashidova's most notable achievements was winning the prestigious Royal Academy of Music's Patron's Award in 2005. This award is given to the most outstanding student at the academy, and Rashidova was the first violinist to receive it in over a decade. She was also awarded the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust Award in 2006, which enabled her to continue her studies in Italy with renowned violinist Salvatore Accardo. Rashidova's talent as a violinist has been recognized by some of the most respected names in the classical music world. She has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra. She has also collaborated with some of the most respected conductors, including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Sir Colin Davis, and Valery Gergiev. One of Rashidova's most memorable performances was her solo debut at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2007. She performed the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, receiving a standing ovation from the audience. The performance was widely praised by critics, who hailed Rashidova as a rising star in the classical music world. Rashidova is also a passionate chamber musician, and has performed with some of the most respected chamber ensembles in the world. She is a founding member of the London-based Gildas Quartet, which has won numerous awards and accolades for their exceptional performances. The quartet has performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including the Wigmore Hall in London and the Carnegie Hall in New York. In addition to her performing career, Rashidova is also a respected teacher and mentor.
