Jannina Norpoth is a classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a violinist and chamber musician. Born in New York City, Norpoth began playing the violin at the age of four and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. She went on to study at the Juilliard School, where she earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in violin performance. Norpoth's career as a professional musician began in earnest when she joined the New York Philharmonic as a member of the first violin section. She remained with the orchestra for several years, during which time she also began to establish herself as a soloist and chamber musician. In 2008, Norpoth co-founded the PUBLIQuartet, a string quartet that has gained a reputation for its innovative programming and boundary-pushing performances. Throughout her career, Norpoth has been recognized for her exceptional talent and musicianship. She has won numerous awards and competitions, including the Juilliard Concerto Competition, the New York Philharmonic Young Artists Competition, and the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.
