Heinz's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking formal lessons and soon became a student at the Berlin University of the Arts. He studied under some of the most renowned music teachers in Germany, including Karl-Heinz Kämmerling and Klaus Hellwig. During his time at the university, Heinz honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. He was particularly drawn to the works of Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach, and spent countless hours studying their compositions. He also began to experiment with his own compositions, and his talent as a composer soon became evident. After completing his studies, Heinz began performing professionally. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented pianist and composer, and his performances were highly sought after. He performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe, including the Berlin Philharmonic and the Vienna State Opera. One of the highlights of Heinz's career was his performance at the Salzburg Festival in 1972. He was invited to perform as a soloist with the Vienna Philharmonic, and his performance was met with critical acclaim.
