His father was a renowned cellist, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Thomas was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Thomas showed exceptional talent and dedication to music from a young age. He began taking piano lessons with his mother and quickly progressed to more advanced pieces. By the age of ten, he had already won several local piano competitions and was invited to perform at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall. In 1997, Thomas was accepted into the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School in Surrey, England. The school is known for its rigorous music program and has produced many world-renowned musicians. Thomas studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Peter Feuchtwanger, who recognized his exceptional talent and helped him develop his skills further. During his time at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Thomas participated in numerous competitions and performances. In 2001, he won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Paris, France, and was awarded a scholarship to study at the Juilliard School in New York City. At Juilliard, Thomas continued to excel in his studies and was mentored by some of the most renowned pianists in the world. He also had the opportunity to perform in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center. In 2005, Thomas graduated from Juilliard with a Bachelor of Music degree and was awarded the prestigious William Petschek Piano Scholarship. He then went on to pursue a Master of Music degree at the Royal College of Music in London, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, John Lill. Throughout his career, Thomas has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with many renowned conductors, including Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Barenboim, and Valery Gergiev. In addition to his performances, Thomas is also a dedicated teacher and has taught at several prestigious music schools, including the Royal College of Music and the Juilliard School. He is known for his passionate and engaging teaching style and has inspired many young musicians to pursue their dreams. Thomas has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career.
