Josephine Olech was born on May 12, 1990, in Warsaw, Poland. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Josephine showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. At the age of six, Josephine began studying at the Fryderyk Chopin Music School in Warsaw, where she received her first formal training in music. She quickly excelled in her studies and began participating in local competitions and concerts. In 2003, Josephine won first prize in the National Violin Competition for Young Musicians in Poland. This was a major milestone in her career and helped to establish her as a rising star in the classical music world. After completing her studies at the Fryderyk Chopin Music School, Josephine went on to study at the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She continued to excel in her studies and was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London. While studying in London, Josephine had the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading violinists and conductors. She also had the opportunity to perform in some of the city's most prestigious concert halls, including the Royal Albert Hall and the Barbican Centre. In 2012, Josephine won first prize in the International Violin Competition in Kloster Schöntal, Germany. Over the years, Josephine has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra.
