Elizabeth Grard was born on May 12, 1985, in Paris, France. She was born into a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Elizabeth was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Elizabeth began her formal music education at the Conservatoire de Paris, where she studied under renowned pianist and teacher, Pierre-Laurent Aimard. She quickly excelled in her studies and was awarded several prizes for her performances. In 2003, she won first prize in the prestigious Concours International de Piano d'Epinal, which launched her career as a professional pianist. She has collaborated with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic.
