Yehuda Gilad is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact on the world of music. Born in Jerusalem, Israel, in 1954, Gilad began his musical journey at a young age. He started playing the clarinet when he was just seven years old and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. Gilad's parents recognized his musical abilities and encouraged him to pursue his passion. He studied at the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem and later at the Juilliard School in New York City. During his time at Juilliard, Gilad studied under the tutelage of renowned clarinetist Stanley Drucker. After completing his studies, Gilad began his professional career as a clarinetist. He quickly gained recognition for his exceptional talent and was invited to perform with some of the world's most prestigious orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. One of Gilad's most notable achievements was his founding of the Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles. The conservatory was established in 2003 and quickly became one of the most prestigious music schools in the country. Gilad served as the conservatory's founding director and helped shape its curriculum and philosophy. Today, Gilad continues to perform and teach, inspiring a new generation of musicians with his passion and dedication to the art of music.
