From a young age, Emma showed a keen interest in music and began taking piano lessons at the age of five. However, it was not until she was eight years old that she discovered her true passion for the cello. Emma's parents recognized her talent and enrolled her in the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she began her formal training in cello performance. She quickly excelled in her studies and was soon performing in various concerts and competitions. In 2003, Emma won the prestigious BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, which catapulted her into the international spotlight. This was a major turning point in her career, as it opened up many doors for her and allowed her to perform in some of the world's most renowned concert halls. Over the years, Emma has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic.
